Going Live
Draft and Live, and the channels a live agent answers on.
Every agent is in one of two states:
| State | Where it answers |
|---|---|
| Draft | Only in the Playground. New agents start here. |
| Live | In the Playground and on all of its channels. |
The state shows as a badge in the agent's top bar.
Go Live
- Open the agent and click Go Live.
- Review Channels for your agent: where it will be available.
- Click Save and Go Live.

| Embedded Web Widget | A chat window on your website. Copy the snippet and add it before </body>. |
| Facebook Messenger, Viber, Slack, WhatsApp | Coming Soon. |
To see the channels of a live agent again, use the channel settings button next to its live badge.
Back to Draft
Click Back to Draft and confirm. The agent stops responding outside the Playground, and API and website widget
conversations, including ones in progress, are rejected until you go live again. API requests return
403 with "This agent is not live.".
Saved changes apply right away, whether the agent is Draft or Live. There is nothing to re-publish.
